Is the Free plan really free forever?
Yes — no credit card required, no trial period. The Free plan gives you unlimited videos, 100 AI Credits per month, full 1080p HD recording, transcripts, unlimited sharing, and timestamp comments. The only limit is a 10-minute cap per video.
When will Team and Pro be available?
Team and Pro plans are currently in development. You can sign up on the Free plan now and we'll notify you as soon as they launch. Early Free users will be offered a discounted upgrade path.
What is the referral promotion?
Free users who accumulate 1,000 AI Credits through referrals before 1 December 2026 will receive the Pro plan free for life — no strings attached. Share your unique referral link and each successful sign-up earns you bonus AI Credits.
What counts as a referral?
A referral is counted when someone signs up for a Chronodesk Capture Free account using your unique referral link and records their first video. Each qualifying referral earns you AI Credits toward the 1,000-credit milestone.
Can I upload and download videos on the Free plan?
Absolutely. Free plan users have full upload and download access, so you can import existing screen recordings and export your Capture videos at any time.
What happens to my recordings if Team or Pro launches and I don't upgrade?
Nothing changes. Your Free account and all recordings remain fully accessible. Team and Pro introduce new capabilities but do not remove anything from the Free tier.
